About the role
As the General Manager you will be responsible for its overall daily operations. You will support the companies Model of Care to their residents, create a warm culture for staff and residents and have the ability to achieve extraordinary business performance and drive, to achieve the desired business goals & provide high level care to the residents and their families. 
You will be supported by a Regional support manager & Regional manager and have care managers working directly below you

  • Occupancy management 
  • Roster management 
About the home  
My clients care home is a modern facility located in the East Latrobe Valley, Gippsland near Traralgon, located just a short drive from the centre of town. Traralgon offers a range of activities such as: Amble along the wide tree-lined streets, visit the beautiful gardens and spacious parklands and enjoy an ever-expanding choice of top-notch dining options. 
The facility consists of 120 beds, with a mixture of care types. Their primary focus is the health, lifestyle, independence and well-being of the residents.

Skills and Experience 
  • First class operational leadership experience 
  • Demonstrated abilities in growing and developing people 
  • Advanced understanding of service improvement, WHS principles and previous experience within a regulatory environment 
  • Proven record of accomplishment of successfully implementing change 
  • Possess excellent skills in leading through relationships 
  • Strong ability to manage resources and exceed targets 
  • Registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse preferred but not essential
