About Oac 

At Only About Children (Oac) we like to do things a little differently. Our unique child led curriculum is part of our holistic approach which includes programs designed in house for music, language, drama, active and sustainability. We have seasonal healthy menus designed by our own nutritionists and prepared by our campus chefs each day and an in-house Health team including speech pathologists and occupational therapists who can work directly with children, Educators and families where any developmental delays or issues can be supported. 

The Role and Campus

Our beautiful Southbank campus has been designed in collaboration with 4d Architect & Design and Elsie+Betty, to complement the warm, inspiring, and inviting atmosphere Oac’s educators work hard to create. The interior is stunning, with views looking across the CBD skyline, and the outdoor space is even more spectacular, allowing children to interact and learn utilising a bike track, handcrafted tree house, water play area, sandpit, and more. 

Catering for 108 children per day, Oac Southbank offers care for children aged 0 to 6 across our nursery, toddler, and preschool spaces. The Room Leader will work to support a room of educators to deliver an outstanding curriculum for our children and families.

How You Support Us?

For this position, we are looking for:
  • Diploma in Early Childhood or Children Service's (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience in an early childhood room leader role and documentation experience. 
  • Ability to support the team through a strong understanding of the NQF and EYLF
  • A dynamic personality, creativity, and a clear passion for early childhood education
