About the Role
You will be providing quality customer care which enables people living with a disability to achieve their goals. This can include support with transport, personal care, accompanying participants to activities and events, medical and health needs and household tasks. Sublime Care currently has multiple positions available for experienced workers.   
  
Essential Criteria
  • Certificate III (minimum) in Disability, Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working in the Industry
  • Clinical Background Highly Desirable
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Drivers licence and access to a reliable/registered and insured vehicle
  • Current and clear National Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to work a variety of shift times and days over a 7 day period
Skills Required: 
  • Manual Handling experience and experience supporting people with a disability who have limited mobility
  • Experience supporting participants with complex care needs such as bowel management, epilepsy, catheter care, PEG feeding and willingness to be involved in any additional training
  • Experience support participants with mental health issues, challenging behaviours and implementing behaviour support plans
