As an end-to-end supplier delivering optimised engineering, surveying, and geotechnical solutions to the building and land development industries, Intrax was founded in Victoria in 2003. In the last 17 years we have grown rapidly into a large-sized engineering consultancy employing over 300 people across Australia and China.
Our Head Office is located in Melbourne CBD with rapidly expanding offices in South Australia, New South Wales and Queensland, all serving our growing client list of leading residential builders, industrial and commercial development companies, government and urban land authorities, developers, and architects.
We are now looking for a Structural Engineer to join our team of talented Residential Engineers. The role will be based at our Head Office in Melbourne, CBD.

Your role will include, but will not be limited to:
  • Preparing Structural/Civil calculations and drawings
  • Undertaking detailed technical design & documentation for residential/volume housing engineering projects.
  • Professionally liaising with clients, drafters, builders and architects 
  • Assisting in training young engineers.  
You will need to have:
  • A minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in Engineering - Civil/Structural
  • Structural engineering experience (minimum 2 years) in residential and/or volume housing projects in Australia 
  • Sound knowledge in engineering first principles, residential footing/slab design, timber/steel residential framing design, civil/storm water design
  • The ability to work independently, as well as in a team
  • Excellent time management/organisational skills.
  • The ability and drive to learn quickly
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders in a professional & productive manner.
