As an end-to-end supplier delivering optimised engineering, surveying, and geotechnical solutions to the building and land development industries, Intrax was founded in Victoria in 2003. In the last 17 years we have grown rapidly into a large-sized engineering consultancy employing over 300 people across Australia and China.
Our Head Office is located in Melbourne CBD with rapidly expanding offices in South Australia, New South Wales and Queensland, all serving our growing client list of leading residential builders, industrial and commercial development companies, government and urban land authorities, developers, and architects.
To join our team  we are looking for a highly driven Civil Engineer to join our Civil Department on a full-time basis. This role is based in our Melbourne, CBD office. 

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
  • Civil engineering design for projects in residential, DHHS and townhouse developments up to 8 units
  • Pavement design for residential site
  • On-site detention design and WSUD for residential site
  • Prepare civil calculations and preliminary "for construction" documentation
  • Liaison with clients, drafters, builders, architects and councils
  • Undertake Civil site inspections as required
  • Assist in the training of young engineers 
Ideally, as the person we seek you will have the following...
  • A minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil)
  • Civil Engineering Design experience in residential projects in Australia (Minimum 3 years)
  • The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Excellent time management/organisational skills
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced service environment
  • Open/valid manual driver's license
  • Hold a white card (Desirable)
