As an end-to-end supplier delivering optimised engineering, surveying, and geotechnical solutions to the building and land development industries, Intrax was founded in Victoria in 2003. We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Digital Product Specialist, Housing. This role is tasked with delivering digitalisation across the Intrax Housing division. You will be responsible for developing a strategic project plan (in conjunction with the Executive team) for implementation, end to end implementation and change management of the project, and continued day to day operation of Digital Engineering for the entire division.   

In this role you will be required to:

  • Assess the organisations current digital capabilities including gap and risk analysis.
  • Design and implement a digitalisation strategy in conjunction with the executive team.
  • Facilitate the transition from AutoCAD to Revit BIM modelling including development of processes and procedures, documentation, training and development, providing technical support and troubleshooting internally.
  • Develop and lead business development strategies and identify new opportunities for BIM services.
  • Deliver technical solutions and BIM project management for client projects.
  • Establish BIM protocols with consultants, builders, and relevant stakeholders to ensure a cohesive application from all angles.
To be successful you will have:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (Civil or Structural) or Architecture.
  • Experience in engineering consultancy or construction, preferably in a similar role.
  • Advanced Revit proficiency is essential, with additional experience in one or more of the following design solutions being considered favourably: Bentley MicroStation, OpenRoads, OpenRail, Civil3D, and/or 12d Model.
  • Established project management and change management experience.
  • Working knowledge and understanding in Design and Construction Management Practice, Process and Procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong data analysis skills with an eye for detail.
  • Business Development/Client Management experience would be looked upon favorably.
