Here is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate and driven sales coach/mentor to join the business in a Field Sales Management capacity, based in Christchurch. This is a very smart career move for an ambitious candidate looking to further their management career!

About the role: 
  • Management, coaching and development of a team of 5 Sales Representatives, focused on selling a broad range of powertools directly to end users - predominantly on building sites - and other relevant end user customers
  • Coaching through 'ride days' with the team- at least once per month per team member
  • Drive the team to successfully demonstrate the range of tools to the end user
  • Execute a regional plan to effectively seek out and convert users to your brand
  • Build relationships alongside internal stakeholders to present job site solutions throughout the dealer network
About you:
  • You're a highly motivated and dynamic sales professional with proven coaching/mentoring skills, along with experience in the building products sector - preferably direct to the end user. We will also consider candidates at Field Sales Management level from outside of the industry if you can demonstrate extensive DIY knowledge and experience, and obvious passion for ''hands on'' DIY.
  • You are free to travel with your Reps on 'ride days' - there will be regular weekly/fortnightly travel throughout your Southern region, 2-3 nights at a time.
  • You have excellent administration and reporting skills and a high level of attention to detail
