The Role 
This is an exciting opportunity for a friendly, organised and professional Legal Assistant to join this high performing and busy team. The successful candidate will provide crucial support to a team of professional staff with a variety of work. It involves working closely and collaboratively with your colleagues in your provision of seamless support. This role is fast paced and you will need to be a quick learner and an efficient worker to succeed.

Your main responsibilities will be:  
  • liaising with clients;
  • drafting and amending legal documents and other correspondence;
  • scanning and photocopying;
  • arranging meetings;
  • filing and file management; and
  • monthly billing and time recording.
About you 
The role requires strong verbal communication skills to function well within a busy team environment, and excellent written skills to both amend and draft correspondence. Your excellent time management and proficient typing skills will ensure efficient file management. Close attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to complete tasks in an efficient and accurate manner are essential to your success as part of this high performing team.
Previous experience working within Family Law will be highly desirable.
