The opportunity
A rare senior leadership opportunity has arisen in our national rehabilitation management team. This role would suit an experienced senior rehabilitation manager seeking a role that provides ownership of operational excellence.     

Reporting to the Executive General Manager, the purpose of the role is to:
  1. Lead Procare Injury Management in operations and process improvement through partnering with our National Executive Manager, national managers, state managers and the national performance team.
  2. Enable our states to continue delivering best in class RTW outcomes and customer service, whilst delivering sustainable profitable growth.  
  3. Deliver consistent high quality rehabilitation services nationally through a passion for continuous improvement, teamwork and focus on business efficiency.
  4. Partnering with our national operations team and our states; enhance our existing people, performance models and case management systems, and develop new programs to ensure we enable our staff to bring their best to their roles.  
  5. Drive innovation across our service lines and lead our team in delivering new products to market. This includes, partnering with portfolio, relationship and state managers around identifying business drivers for growth, researching innovations in rehab, and leading the development of service enhancements and new services to meet our customers changing needs.
  6. Optional: We have several senior customer relationship management opportunities. For the preferred candidate, this may also be considered as a component of the role. 
You will be part of a stable, experienced, diverse and successful senior leadership team, with a very positive team culture and track-record of success.
This is a full-time role based in our Alexandria Head Office.
About you
  • Over 5 years management experience, including working with senior internal and external business stakeholders and customers.
  • Mandatory experience working at a workplace rehabilitation provider during your career, to ensure a strong understanding of the needs of our customers and people.  
  • Passion and understanding of operations management and business process improvement is essential.
  • Over 5 years people management experience, as a love for delivering change through collaboration, is a prerequisite for success in this role.
  • We value experience working in other related roles, to help you understand the drivers for our customers and to bring other expertise to the role. Examples might include workers compensation insurance, business process improvement, project management and corporate health roles.
  • Experience in Workers Compensation, Life, Transport Accident/CTP and other personal injury schemes is desirable.
  • Strong customer service ethic, internally and externally, and drive for business growth.
