Long term permanent role for newly formed Finance Manager Construction Company in exciting growth phase.

My client is an established Civil Construction Contractor with offices in multiple cities and regional centres across Australia. The company has recently made strategic acquisitions and has grown to a yearly turnover of around $80M. As a result, they are currently seeking the services of an experienced Finance Manager to join their team in their head office based in Western Sydney reporting to the CEO.

This role will see you perform the following duties:
  • Management of AP/AR, Payroll, Management Accounting functions
  • Provide strategic advice to the board and identifying ways to improve internal processes
  • Overall Cash flow and Asset management and protection
  • Producing regular reports to Senior Management on overall company performance and creating performance models
  • Assist throughout the tendering process, providing input into cash flow management and profitability of projects
  • Ensuring high level of compliance for the company against all reporting and accounting related functions.
 To be successful in this position you will need to possess the following:
  • Approximately 5 years + experience in a similar role
  • Degree Accounting qualifications
  • CA/CPA qualifications an advantage
  • Intermediate skills in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Proven ability to lead, influence and manage an accounts department
  • High level ability to predict cash flow trends and proactivity look for solutions and mitigate risks
  • Ability to organise and prioritize work loads
You will be based in the Western Sydney, with salary negotiable on experience.
