Large WA owned & operated manufacturer of trucks & trailer parts. Overseeing 2 others in a workshop environment. Permanent role. Immediate start!

Our client who based in the southern suburbs of Perth are manufacturers of truck and trailer parts and bodies.  They are currently seeking a Senior Storeperson to join their team and oversee two other staff members on a full-time permanent basis.
 
This busy workshop environment where the stores is also located will see you perform a mixture of duties including but not limited to:
  • Responsible for inwards and outwards goods
  • Forklift operating (pallet and ugly freight)
  • Mentoring and guiding two other staff members in their day-to-day duties
  • Computer related tasks including data entry to their ERP system
  • Logistics coordinating
  • Implementing improvement processes / controls
  • Adhering to strict OHS policies and procedures
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will be a natural leader with the ability to build rapport with your fellow workers quickly and easily.  Having a monkey-see / monkey-do style attitude about you aswell as a hands-on approach will see you excel in this role. The must haves are:
  • Current forklift/drivers licence
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Have a proven ability in implementing improvement processes and procedures in your past employment
  • Physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical
What’s in it for you?
Asides from working for a large WA owned and operated company who are well-established in their industry you will also be offered a negotiable salary of $60k to $65k + super per annum and the freedom to showcase your innovative ideas to management.
