The Role:

As Senior Governance Specialist, you would be the subject matter expert across the full scope of corporate governance matters, who diagnoses governance issues and provides advice of Board governance and policy including liaising with Chairs, Board members, CEOs and the Company Secretary Departments.

Key responsibilities:

Governance Reviews and Advice
  • Lead multi-stage governance reviews including insight-gathering, benchmarking, quantitative and qualitative analysis, presentation of findings, and the provision of advice and recommendations
  • Apply expertise to the design of bespoke review solutions
  • Design bespoke surveys and conduct interviews (where required) for the purposes of insight gathering during reviews
  • Conduct detailed analysis of governance data (qualitative and quantitative)
  • Provide corporate governance advice on various aspects of their governance arrangements, including charters, codes, policies and procedures
Research and Development
  • Contribute to the development of new tools, and proforma charters, policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the development of content strategies to support the value and integration of Board Advisory into other business units
Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Governance Professional who is currently in a similar role or working within the Company Secretary team but wanting to pursue a career in Governance.
