The Role
You will be a passionate and experienced Digital Marketing specialist who will assess the existing digital marketing setup and significantly improve the companies organic search engine rankings. This is a new position for the business and will allow you to utilise your knowledge in search engine optimisation & implement changes to the company website to increase site traffic & drive revenue forward. To be successful you will have strong experience with Wordpress, SEO & SEM and enjoy working in a performance focused environment.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse & review existing digital marketing setup for the business
  • Apply a strong understanding of performance metrics to develop & monitor effective SEO & SEM strategies with the aim to improve website organic rankings
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion & optimisation
  • Measure & Implement results of A/B testing, website layouts and advertising for SEO
  • Conduct competitor analysis
  • Work collaboratively with development, marketing, and management departments
  • Manage client SEO relation relationship in relation to SEO; translate SEO terminology, creating a story
  • Keep up to date with industry best practice
  • Maintain reporting dashboard & present performance and insights
  • Suggest improvements for process & productivity optimisation
   
  
Technical Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of local experience
  • Good knowledge of the marketing landscape, customer growth and consumer journey
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms & ranking methods
  • Previous experience using Wordpress, SEO industry programs and tools including but not limited to:
    • Keyword research tools
    • Google Analytics
    • Google Webmaster Tools
    • SEO copywriting
    • Keyword tracking tools
  • Tertiary qualifications in analytics, digital marketing, or related field
  • Google Analytics certified
  • Sales experience is highly valued when it comes to understanding how to implement effective customer promotions (not essential to apply)
