Company:
Our client, an award-winning Accredited Specialist Firm in Personal Injury, has an amazing opportunity in the Sydney CBD, in stunning and modern offices, for an experienced Senior Legal Secretary, with exceptionally high standards, to join their team of professionals.
 
Reporting to one of their longstanding Senior Associates within Workers Compensation and Common Law, across multiple jurisdictions, you will be responsible for ensuring that everything runs smoothly and that you provide the highest levels of support and service.

Works hours 8:30am – 5pm.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provision of full support to Senior Associate including diary management
  • Preparation of general correspondence and legal documents
  • Opening and closing all files/matters
  • Assist with briefs preparation
  • Liaison with clients and other internal stakeholders
  • Dictation typing
  • Monthly billings
  • Other ad hoc administration in relation to your role
Skills and experience:
  • Demonstrated, local (NSW) experience in a similar role – 5 years minimum
  • Relevant education – highly regarded
  • Sound understanding of Workers Compensation and WID/Common Law matters - essential
  • Experience dealing with WIRO – essential
  • Experience dealing with SIRA – essential
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficient and accurate typing skills 65 wpm – essential
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient MS Office skills – strong proficiency – essential across WORD, Excel, PPT and Outlook
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a team environment – essential
