Contractual basis
Core responsibilities:
In providing technical support to the following activities, primarily:
  • Breakbulk / Out of Gauge / Modular cargo and equipment loadout, transportation and installation or removal, including the following key sub activities;
    • Roll on / off
    • Lifting
    • Skidding
    • Launching
    • Voyage
  • Transportation and installation vessel conversion, modification and outfitting
  • Transportation and installation equipment and material fabrication and construction
Work Scope / Duties and Responsibilities
    1. Supporting and reporting to the General Manager, you will lead, guide and manage the engineering resources and relevant personnel, inhouse and outsourced
    2. Responsible for the operations and engineering resource planning (HR and ICT), team building and overall operation and engineering management
    3. Technical review, evaluation, clarification, and feasibility / optimization studies
    4. Costing, estimation, and quotation preparation assistance to management
    5. Responsible for Engineering Analyses, Design and Review for:
    6. Cargo
    7. Land and Shoreside Haulage and Cranage (including loading and discharging)
    8. Vessel / Barge
    9. Preparation / checking and submission of all documentation to clients and relevant authorities, incorporating; engineering, specifications, planning, procedures and methods, in accordance with and adhering to latest industry guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Key requirements:
Freight Transportation
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in marine engineering, work measurement, continuous improvement, and related areas
  • 1-3 years’ experience in transportation and installation design, MHE design, naval architect engineering preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in naval architect Engineering, marine Engineering, or related field required
  • Demonstrates superior leadership skills that drive organization toward the achievement of high performance standards in strategic planning
  • Provides strong thought leadership

  • Excels in an innovative and collaborative environment
  • Extensive process knowledge, planning abilities, problem solving, and organizational skills
