E&I Supervisor/Inspectors

Short term contract 12 months

Shipyard

Responsibilities includes:

Direct control and supervision of workers and sub-contractors related E&I activities on site.
Check field works and carry out the works in proper manner.
Keep daily activity progress record and log any problems that may exist for immediate action.
Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations
Initiates or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work reports and submit them to the superior timely.
Verify the progress report prepared by the subcontractor.
Coordinating interfaces with other discipline supervisors.
Preparation of punch listing and expedite the punch-out
Monitor actual daily manpower/ equipment mobilized, check it based on the plan, and report to the Department Manager
Understanding scope of works and supply requirement such as terms of condition with Client and subcontractors (s), construction organisation, project coordination procedure.
Explain to Subcontractor their responsibilities and Scope of Work.
Prepare schedule for the specific task instruct by discipline lead.
Check and ensure that works are carrying out according to the priority sequence given from the Head of Department
Monitor and ensuring the field materials are well maintained on site and report any discrepancy to lead engineer.
Ensure that subordinates are trained and knowledgeable of specifications and work procedures, to ensure optimum efficiency, and work is being performed in conformance with specified quality requirements.

Requirements

Diploma/Bachelor Degree in electrical engineering
At least 5 years of working experience in Oil & Gas E&I fabrication works.
Excellent written and good communication skills, able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork
PC Literate
