The Company
Great Dental Websites (https://greatdentalwebsites.com.au) is seeking an additional highly organized, motivated General Manager for our Sydney branch office. This position reports to the CEO.
 
We’ve helped over 700 dental practices market themselves online, with services ranging from simple websites to full-service, ongoing marketing, with multiple campaigns.  Australia represents a large growing market for us, and we are committed to expanding our footprint and investment in the region with this role.
 
The Position
Continued growth in our Australian office has led us to create a new General Manager (GM) position to help manage and grow our operations in AU/NZ, and eventually, into the Asia-Pacific region as well.  We need someone with experience working in digital marketing to be a jack of all trades to manage our Sydney HQ.
 
The ideal candidate will have experience managing small teams and growing them over time.  Most positions slated for future expansion on the AU/NZ office are customer facing, so customer support, business development, and marketing experience are crucial to success for this position.
 
Experience with digital marketing for small businesses is a must, and exposure to the dental industry is ideal.  You may be called on to speak to higher profile customers and provide consultative advice and feedback for how they can expand and improve their marketing. 
 
We have an exclusive channel partner relationship with Prime Practice, and maintaining this relationship is key to success for this position. Provision of consulting support to their existing clients will be required, so building relationships and integrating with their team is also important.
 
Our clients look to us to walk them through their marketing strategies, answer their questions, and advise them on best practices. The GM is the person to whom the CEO looks for support, guidance, and counsel on GDW Australia related items.
 
Training will be conducted at US Headquarters in Denver, CO, and the position will be ultimately based in Bondi Junction - Sydney, Australia
 
Experience Requirements
  • Qualified candidates will be self-motivated and have a positive attitude. You must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Must be able to work without constant supervision and be a self starter
  • Experience with consulting on digital and traditional marketing solutions for small businesses
  • Experience managing and developing small teams
  • Experience with business development and new partnerships
  • Experience in customer service
 
Responsibilities
  • Manage, measure and report on performance against targets
  • Ability to grow, coach and monitor staff
  • Primary liaison between our Australian partner and US office
  • Ensure your team achieves clients’ marketing goals
  • Ensuring profitability and efficiency while utilizing company resources
  • Reviewing performance of assigned accounts on a consistent basis
  • Advocate for and problem solve for clients
  • Educate clients on effective marketing strategy/best practices
  • Work with our internal team to complete client requests
  • Keep up to date on marketing best practices including SEO guidelines
  • Regular reporting to CEO
