Executive Assistant to the CEO.

Southern Cross Support Services (SCSS) is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic Executive Assistant to work alongside the CEO at their busy Bundaberg Head Office, servicing Queensland in the NDIS and Child Safety. 

This role offers the opportunity to work with a passionate, friendly and down to earth group of executives and to enjoy variety in day to day tasks in a fast-paced environment, while utilising your strengths in process and detail focused work.  As part of a well-established team of professionals, you'll be working in an environment with a strong mission and purpose. 

This role is pivotal in the successful management of the daily activities for the CEO.

About the role:
  • You will be the first point of call for the CEO on a daily basis.
  • Accurate and timely diary management and travel coordination and adjusting to such changes, as well as multi-tasking to action competing priorities to a high standard. 
  • As a key contact for CEO both within the business and with clients, cultivating collaborative relationships and provide an exceptional level of service, information and advice.
  • Liaising with the Directors on a regular basis.
  • Opportunity to lead and be involved in project work.
  • Ad-hoc administration and project support for the COO and Executive Team.
  • Formatting of documents, presentations, and client correspondence.
  • First point of contact for all incoming enquiries for internal and external comms. 
  • Booking all travel for the Executive Team. 
  • Managing communication with internal stakeholders and working to tight time frames and deadlines. 
  • Some PA responsibilities required.
  
Key skills and about you:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an Executive Assistant in a fast paced business.
  • Corporately presented with a high level of professional acumen.
  • Strong ability to pivot quickly and at times, take initiative with minimal direction if it means getting the job done. 
  • Positive in attitude and outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Strong sense of accountability and a commitment to delivering quality service. 
  • Sense of urgency with the ability to remain calm under pressure. 
  • High level of discretion and sensitivity when dealing with confidential matters.
  • Forward-thinking with a strong ability to think outside the box.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and work well in an environment that is fast-paced.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Up-to-date exceptional technology skills.

A requirement prior to commencement, is eligibility to apply for or currently hold the below:
  • Suitability Blue Card for Working with Children and Young People
  • Positive Notice Criminal History Check - Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Child Safety and Criminal History Screening - LCS2
