About the Role
 
Reporting to the Area Manager of the Goldcoast, this is a full-time role. With a commitment to best practice, you will manage the successful operation of the venue. The General Manager role focuses on building a positive restaurant culture and developing team member capability to deliver memorable experiences for our guests.
 
Key responsibilities of the role include:
  • Overseeing all venue operations, budgets, reporting, and rostering
  • Facilitating the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members in line with brand values
  • Having a proactive, and solution-focused approach to driving sales growth and managing costs to meet business objectives and budget
  • Delivering outstanding customer experiences through personally demonstrating positive interactions and coaching the team to do the same
  • Ensuring compliance with all restaurant and bar policies, standards, and procedures
  • Supervising staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met
  • Upholding high operational standards across all areas of the restaurant, ensuring consistency and compliance with brand standards and service culture
  • Maximising the bookings through reservations platforms
 
What we are looking for
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management role in a fast-paced, food and beverage driven venue
  • Full Australian Working Rights
  • Have the confidence and professionalism to lead a team
  • Strong work ethic with a hands-on approach
  • Prepared to work flexible hours including weekends and late nights
  • Strong computer acumen, including the ability to use Microsoft Office and POS software
  • A proven track record of controlling and improving results, such as food and labour costs
  • A Front of House expert that can deliver exceptional service and take our guests through a casual and fun culinary journey
  • Immaculate grooming and personal presentation
  • Exposure to opening a new venue will be viewed positively
  • A current VIC Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate & First Aid Certificate
  • Experience managing a team of 30+ both FOH & BOH operations
