We have an opportunity available for an Occupational Therapist in our Campbelltown Office

About the Role:

This is a diverse role comprising OT specific assessments and interventions predominantly in the NDIS, as well as some corporate (ergonomic assessments) and potentially compensable scheme case management. The purpose of the role with NDIS participants is to increase their function and independence in all aspects of their lives.
  
You will be part of a small, multi-disciplined, motivated and highly capable local team, and a national company with the support and opportunities to learn and progress professionally. We are growing the Campbelltown office and are looking for a self-motivated team player to build a career with us.

Responsibilities:

  • Occupational Therapy specific assessments and case management
  • Assessments and planning for NDIS participants to maximise their level of function, capacity and social engagement
  • Functional, Pre-employment, ADL & Workplace assessments
  • Prescription of equipment and recommendations and provision of ongoing therapy support for NDIS and other scheme participants
  • Reporting outcomes and recommendations, written and verbal, in a timely manner and to a high standard
  • Promoting health and wellness solutions and support optimal mental and physical outcomes for clients referred to us.
  • Liaising with clients, families, referrers, doctors, employers and other allied health professions to achieve coordinated outcomes.
  
Skills, Attributes & Experience:
  
  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Well-presented with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ clinical or occupational rehabilitation experience
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and report writing skills
  • Willingness to go the extra mile.
