Charge Up Operators required on a 14:14 roster. Excellent hourly rates on offer. FIFO Perth. Must hold WA Shotfirers Licence & Dangerous Goods card.

We are seeking applications from experienced Underground Charge Up Operators for a Gold producing mine site in Western Australia.

The successful candidates will be required to have the following skills & experience:
  • Minimum of 3+ years previous experience in an underground Charge Up role;
  • Hold a current WA Shotfirers Licence & Dangerous Goods card. 
  • Be currently based in WA;
  • Be competent in all aspects of underground charging;
  • Handle and transport explosive material in a safe manner according to procedures;
  • Have a high regard for and commitment to safety standards;
  • Work well without supervision and demonstrate initiative;
These roles offer the successful candidates:
  • Family friendly 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rosters;
  • Short flight from Perth to site;
  • Excellent hourly rate (up to $780 per shift);
  • All meals and accommodation whilst on roster;
  • Permanent roles after qualifying period;

  • Provide a current National Police Clearance (dated within 6 months);
  • Pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol screening and full functional assessments;
  • Be an Australian Permanent Resident;
  • Hold a current & unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence;
  • Provide contactable current and previous employer referees;
