Applications are sought from highly motivated, conscientious experienced General/CT Radiographers to join our team in Wimmera Radiology on a full-time basis.
 
Wimmera Radiology is located at the Wimmera Base Hospital in Horsham. Wimmera Base Hospital is a public teaching hospital with a proactive learning environment and varied caseload.
 
Wimmera Radiology provides the Wimmera region with General X-ray, Multi-slice CT, Mammography, DEXA, MRI and all Ultrasound services. Horsham itself offers the right person a 10-minute commute to work with plenty of parking a great country and outdoor lifestyle with Mt Arapiles and The Grampians on its doorstep.

Personal Competencies:
  • Demonstrate ability in providing patient care and customer service delivery standards
  • Perform Radiography duties in accordance with practice instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to follow instructions and take direction from Senior Medical staff and management
  • Demonstrate understanding of OH&S practices
Essential Criteria:
  • Previous General and CT experience
  • GE CT equipment - preferred but not essential 
  • MRI or Mammography skills will be advantageous but not essential 
  • AHPRA Membership
  • Victorian Radiation Use License
  • Must be able to participate in the after-hours on-call rotating roster
