Healthcare Imaging Services (HIS) NSW currently has two exciting full-time Head Secretary opportunities located at Rayscan Imaging, Liverpool.

Forming part of the HIS network, Rayscan Imaging is a comprehensive radiology practice equipped with the latest state-of-the-art imaging technology including 3T MRI machines operated by a team of highly qualified and patient focused professionals.

Your main responsibility is to maintain a high quality of administrative output by ensuring a productive work environment and maintaining a high standard of customer service. At this level, you will be required to work autonomously and give direction and supervision to other staff members.
 
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Performing all reception duties including bookings, patient registration
  • Ability to problem solve and resolve conflict in a complex environment
  • Management and maintenance of staff rostering
  • Working in accordance with all Healthcare Imaging Services policies particularly OH&S
  • Manage internal and external patient and referrer queries, complaints and grievances
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Accounting Management such as banking, invoicing and receipting
  • Experience with Medicare compliance/Workcover and third-party accounts
  • Ability to work hours 6am-10pm with weekend work availability
  • Identifying staffing requirements including Performance Management
  • Stock Management
  • Training of new staff
  • Managing staff timecards
To be successful in this role, you need to:
  • Demonstrate an overall commitment to customer satisfaction by managing and delivering exceptional care and service to patients, doctors and staff
  • Strong verbal and written communication and organisational skills
  • Sound knowledge of Radiology Information System (RIS) and radiology environment
  • Have a professional phone manner and ability to prioritise a busy workload
  • Demonstrate abilities in managing, training and supervising a team
  • Demonstrate abilities in dealing with various people in a multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Have strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Provide prompt, friendly and professional assistance in accordance with the Company’s core values, code of conduct and policies
  • Have at least 8 years’ experience in Medical Specialist Services
