QDI provides a comprehensive range of imaging services including General X-ray, Dental Imaging, Fluoroscopic Screening, CT, MRI, Digital Subtraction Angiography, Ultrasound, Vascular Ultrasound, Echocardiography, Nuclear Medicine, Bone Densitometry, and Mammography.

QDI provides radiological services in numerous private hospitals: North West Private, St Vincents PH Northside, Peninsula Private & Noosa Private. The remainder of the practices are located in medical centres or as free-standing sites servicing general practitioners and specialists.
 
We are currently looking for an Enthusiastic Receptionist to work at QDI Radiology clinic at North West Hospital on a full-time basis.

Specific Duties include:
  • Performance of all reception duties including (but not limited to)
- Making patient exam bookings
- Patient record data entry
- Greeting of patients on arrival of appointment
- General patient customer service care
- Medicare billing and banking;
  • Assistance with patient flow within the department;
  • Communication with Medical Centre staff in relation to services offered;
  • Work in accordance with all Company policies including OH&S
  • Day to day problem solving
You will need to:
  • Have previous front desk/office experience in within Radiology or Medical Centres environment 
  • Demonstrate sound accuracy and speed with keyboard skills
  • You need to be available to work between 7:45 - 18:00 and on weekends
  • Be able to competently use standard software packages (IRIS system)
  • Demonstrate outstanding ability to deal with people face to face and over the phone
  • Positive and "Can Do" Attitude
  • Have an excellent phone manner
  • Display a caring and compassionate attitude towards patients
  • Be open and confident, show initiative and be willing to accept responsibility
  • Be a clear oral communicator
  • Prioritize daily tasks
  • Be able to work independently and part of a team
  • Have own transport
  • Medical typing/terminology is an advantage but not essential
