The Company;
Our client is an award winning, not for profit organisation that has been caring for older Australians in NSW for over 70 years. As an organisation that operates in regional, rural and remote NSW and QLD, their goal is to enrich the lives of older people. They currently seeking an experienced and highly capable Registered Nurse to join their team in Casino.

The Role;
You will be responsible for providing the highest standards of clinical care and support to the residents. Working as a valued member of the clinical team, some of the responsibilities will include;
  • Providing quality resident-focused and clinical care
  • Effectively supervising and leading a team of carers
  • Undertake assessments, treatments and documentation to the highest standards
  • Being a champion for client rights and the creation of a culture where clients are respected as individuals and reporting and addressing of client related concerns is supported
What where looking for;
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • 2 years’ experience working in Aged Care in Australia
  • Proven skills in clinical care, clinical decision making and palliation
  • Well-developed knowledge and experience in Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) and the development of care plans
  • Demonstrated ability to implement clinical care policies, practices and procedures
  • Detailed knowledge of aged care accreditation standards, relevant legislation and continuous quality improvement
  • Rights to work in Australia
