We are currently seeking applications for a: 

Full-time Speech Pathologist based in Townsville.

At Cootharinga you will: 
  • Provide customer-driven Speech Pathology assessment and intervention services in line with Cootharinga’s model of service delivery
  • Collaborate with individuals and their support systems to achieve positive outcomes
  • Utilise evidence based practice to apply knowledge and skills that contribute to discipline specific or multidisciplinary clinical decisions for all customers.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support clinical decision making.
  • Work with individuals of varying complexities and abilities, and support needs, across all age groups
  • Some travel throughout the North Queensland region may be required

Essential Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Hold a current 'C' class drivers licence, First Aid and CPR
  • Effective communication skills
