Speech Pathologist (Full-time) – Charters Towers

Cootharinga North Queensland’s Allied Health Service is an experienced provider of therapy and supports for people of all ability.  We are strong supporters of this community and we are seeking to employ a passionate and proactive Speech Pathologist in Charters Towers.  Some regional travel may be required.

Our therapists provide high quality, single and multi-disciplinary therapy solutions to adults and children with varying abilities.

You will:
  • Complete suitable assessments, including equipment prescription as needed (including research, trials, applications and/or reporting);
  • Collaborate with individuals and their support systems to achieve positive outcomes
  • Utilise evidence based practice to apply knowledge and skills that contribute to discipline specific or multidisciplinary clinical decisions (with minimal clinical supervision) for all customers.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support clinical decision making.
  • Work with individuals of varying abilities and support needs, across all age groups                                                                                      
Sector experience is desirable but not necessary to succeed in this role.  You will be fully supported with clinical supervision and mentoring on your journey with us.
