Transport Coordinator


A mid-tier Civil Engineering company requires an experienced Transport Coordinator for their recent project in Auckland

The Construction Company has proven it's extensive construction and project management skills, delivering engineering excellence through cost-efficient, client-focused solutions from minor refurb work through to major development projects. They are mid-tier and operate throughout greater Auckland.  Due to their growing order book, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transport Coordinator to support their current projects.

The successful candidate will bring to the role;
  • Min.5 years of experience in relative field or position
  • Assessment of estimates built from first principles and whole contracts
  • Ability to manage multiple vehicle movements and all transport operations.
  • Understands the principles of Budget and Cost Management
  • A full and demonstrable working knowledge Logistics and Scheduled Maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing the commercial aspects for a Transportation department
  • Previous experience working in a Logistics field.
  • Ability to deliver key financial results including reporting
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Prepares Activity and schedule for all transport on and off-site.
  • Sort out daily movements of all plant in accordance with the Supervisors needs on site 
  • Order and Manage the Sub-contractors trucks and plant.
  • Manage Suppliers and price PSL's
  • Servicing and recording of Truck Maintenance
  • Keeping track of all plant movement on and off-site.
  • Update software on where all plant is.
  • Check calibration date on testing gear
A package which is in line with the demanding nature of the project which includes Salary of between $90k-$110k Package.
