Spinal Life Australia is a non-profit organisation that provides expert knowledge, specialist therapies and supports tailored for people with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities.

We're the largest provider of support services to people living with spinal cord injury in Australia. We are currently looking for an exceptional NDIS Supports Coordinator to work with our clients to achieve support plan outcomes.  This is a part-time (3 days) fixed term, 6 month contract  role based in Woolloongabba, Brisbane.
  
What will I do?

In this busy, relationship-focused role, you will assist clients with a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Plan, to put their plan into action and strengthen their ability to manage their own plan in the long term.  The Support Coordinator will assist an NDIS participant to link up with the service providers of their choice, navigate the disability sector and coordinate their informal, mainstream and funded disability supports.
 
What's needed to be successful?

Our high-performing NDIS Supports Coordinators come from a variety of backgrounds and specialisations. We're looking for someone who can:
  • Support implementation of all supports in the NDIS participant’s plan and coordinate supports within the community.
  • Maintain an operational knowledge of the NDIS and the interface with service delivery in the Disability Sector.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide variety of people both in the organisation and the community
  • Link client's and their families to community and service providers
  • Build great relationships and be an ambassador for our organisation and our clients!
  • Regional travel will be required
