Due to continued organic growth and acquisition, our client is looking to appoint a Manager, into one of their Business Services teams, with a focus on complex clients.  You will be a CA with around at least 5 years experience and thrive in a busy team where the client portfolio includes property developers, construction, manufacturing, and various grouped entities. 

Reporting to the Director, you will be part of a family-like team environment that will provide you leadership, mentoring and full administrative support as well as the tools you need to ensure your every success and that of their clients.

This position mandate includes;
  • People leadership, mentoring, training, and development.
  • Workflow management.
  • Being hands-on and involved in the preparation of year-end financial statements, periodic tax returns and monthly management reporting for a diverse group of medium sizes clients.
  • Working directly with various entities operating across many industry sectors, as noted above.  
To be successful in this role, you will need to have hands-on experience with client accounting, including management accounting, analysis, business planning advice and tax compliance, coupled with a solid working knowledge of Xero. 
CA or CPA qualifications are a must, as is previous chartered accounting experience in a public practice firm, where you have managed complex groups. 

You will possess a positive disposition and proactive approach with a good sense of humour. You will have proven experience at taking initiative relating to key tasks and can work with autonomy. You will possess excellent time management and exceptional organisational skills with an ethos of do it once, do it right.  Your methodical approach and ability to confidently deliver accurate results together with your rapport building skills internally and externally will be the key to success in this role as will your ability to provide exceptional management and leadership to your team and troubleshooting accounting advice to your clients.
