The Position

The HR Generalist at Neto is a people focused role which manages, plans, develops, and coordinates all HR functions within the organisation. Reporting to our COO this standalone HR role will help our Senior Leadership Team drive development, capability and engagement across the business and focus on strategic people initiatives. With 76 staff company wide this is a hands on role which will see you provide strong leadership, expertise and guidance in all Human Resource matters. 

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Set quarterly OKR’s with the Neto Senior Leadership Team
  • Facilitate the development and shaping of a strong employee-oriented company culture that is performance focused and follows company values and mission 
  • Nurture engagement and a positive working environment across the organisation
  • Overall management of workplace health and safety
  • Provide effective change management assistance to business units undergoing structural change to facilitate a smooth transition 
  • Manage effective performance management, employee services and employee relations and grievance resolution
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date and comply with all national and international  guidelines
  • Ensure local HR operations are working effectively and efficiently 
  • Lead development and implementation of various HR projects and initiatives (including Health and Wellness initiatives and overseeing the Neto Social Club).
  • Manage our employee engagement tool - OfficeVibe
  • In conjunction with the finance team manage and review the fortnightly payroll processing 
  • Maintain up to date employee files within our HRIS, Employment Hero 
  • Assist Managers with annual salary reviews 
  • Manage all areas of Neto recruitment 
  • On-boarding of new recruits and off-boarding exiting employees
  • General office management duties

We are looking for someone who has a passion for people and culture and who has proven HR Generalist experience.  Other key requirements are: 
  • Extensive generalist HR knowledge
  • Employee relations/IR knowledge 
  • Strong leadership skills at a senior level with a focus on collaboration and enhancing team effectiveness
  • Experience in developing people capabilities and driving positive culture
  • At least 3 years experience managing a people and culture/HR function within a similar organisation
  • High level communication skills including proven effective written, verbal, negotiation and presentation skills 
  • Strong planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to build influential relationships quickly
  • Ability to adapt and work well under pressure
