Purpose of role 
Supporting the Sales department your role will be to proactively make contact with a database of prospective clients in order to set appointments for the Sales Director & New Business Development Consultant. 

Targeting medium size businesses you will identify their needs in order to provide a service.  They very much use a consultative approach as opposed to hard and fast so this will suit a naturally engaging individual who can build a rapport.
Responsibilities will include –
  • Methodically make outbound calls utilising contact lists and a database
  • Establish who the decision-maker is in order to inform them of the services on offer
  • Efficiently invite stakeholders to attend quarterly events, following up to confirm attendee numbers
  • Provide ad hoc services within the sales department
  • Proactively seek to improve processes/procedures to enable continuous improvements
Skills needed -     

Ideally we'd love to hear from those who are comfortable working in an outbound telemarketing environment, however attitude and commitment will overrule this.  
  • Outbound call experience / telemarketing / appointment setting
  • A technical aptitude - training will be provided
  • Self-motivated - loves to succeed
  • Personable - able to comfortably build a rapport
  • Dogmatic
