Curis Recruitment is excited to partner with this fantastic Aboriginal Health Service based in Far North Queensland to help them find a Child and Maternal Health Nurse to join their team.

Job Details
  • Salary is dependent on experience however is Queensland Level 5 role of the Nurses Award
  • Contracted full time position, length can be negotiated
  • Relocation assistance can be negotiated
  • Short term fully furnished accommodation can be negotiated as part of the relocation package
The Location
You will be living in an important regional centre which is the largest town on the Atherton Tablelands. Surrounded by coffee plantations, mango and paw paw farms, avocado farms, macadamia nut plantations as well as sugar cane fields and orchards specialising in pineapples, bananas and cashews.  

You will be living only 62km from the beautiful Cairns and based on the junction of the Barron River and Granite Creek. 

The Organisation
You will be working for an Aboriginal Corporation where they are working to improve the health outcomes of the Indigenous population of the area. 

To be eligible for this position you must:
  • Have full AHPRA registration with no restrictions
  • Have current Professional indemnity cover
  • Minimum of five years RN experience
  • Community based nursing experience
  • Immunisation endorsement or equivalent
  • Post graduate qualifications in Child Health Nursing
