Grada Recruitment currently have an opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a wide variety of experience on a mixture of Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Retail and multi-story Residential construction projects to join a veteran contractor that has seen no disruption to their forward pipeline of work!

The company:

Our client has been an industry leader for over 50 years, operating nationally across New Zealand. They have capabilities in fit-out, vertical construction and everything in between with projects generally ranging between $1- 25 million.

The Candidate:

A relationship driven; solution focused Quantity Surveyor with roughly 10 years’ experience working on relevant projects in New Zealand with the ability to mentor and provide support to Junior staff members whilst also managing current contracts and working relationship.

  • Processing claims, variations, and payments
  • Contracts Management
  • Sub-contractor & supplier procurement
  • Financial reporting, budget control + monitoring
  • Building sound working relationship with clients, subbies, suppliers etc
  • Assisting with Estimates/ tenders
Essential Criteria:
  • Must have valid work rights, preferably as an NZ resident or citizen
  • Qualification in Quantity Surveying or other relevant tertiary education
  • Relevant project experience between $1-25 mill
  • Roughly 8-10 years’ work experience
