Grada Recruitment have been contracted to source a Design Manager for
an established commercial construction contractor who operate across the North Island. The position is based out the companies Auckland cbd office. This business operates in the commercial, industrial and residential sectors, they are known for delivering D&C projects and have been established for nearly 20 years.

You will be one of two Design Managers in the Auckland team, this is a crucial role to the success of the business and therefore is a key position in the management structure. You will be across multiple projects that range in value from $10M to $80M, from tender stage through to construction.
 
You will ideally:
  • Have previous experience working for a main contractor preferably as a Design Manager
  • Have a mixed and diverse project portfolio
  • Demonstrate stability with previous employers
  • Have worked for an established tier one or two main contractor
  • Have proven experience with Cost Planning
  • Be based in Auckland or able to relocate within a relatively short time-frame
