Due to increase in project requirements within the quality team, our client is 
seeking a QC Immunology Analyst to support the teams within the Immunology department.

About the Opportunity: 
Key responsibilities include the following:
  • Support the teams within the Immunology Department of the Quality Control (QC) group to enable testing of product in accordance with the code of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Follow approved procedures and perform Enzyme immunoassay (EIA) and Potency assays for IVV products - Immunodiffusion assays. 
  • Support the Team to ensure that the assays performed in each department are prepared and executed in accordance with the code of GMP.
  • Assist with investigation of Out of Specification (OOS) test results, invalid assays or when unusual data is observed as required.
  • Accurately completes all documentation in which the analyst has been trained relevant to the work area.

About You:

The successful candidate will have the following skills & experience: 
  • A tertiary qualification in an appropriate scientific discipline.
  • Pipetting techniques experience (in both single and multichannel pipettes).
  • Experience in assay preparation.
  • Sound report writing skills & ability to maintain testing records.
  • Sound experience in the use of computer systems for data entry.
  • Well developed communication & interpersonal skills. 
  • Specific Industry experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or food manufacturing is highly desirable.
