The Opportunity
The Property Analyst is responsible for all Property Accounting related matters across the different Business Units located across Australia. Activities include; rental payments and accruals, facilities related expenditure and accruals. This role performs the key liaison between JLL and the different Business Units, as well as the centralised components of the property process.

As the Property Analyst reporting directly to the Financial Accounting Manager (Pathology) you will:
  • Review weekly actual posting files as provided and coordinate actions
  • Review MTD actual files and liaise with stakeholders to test the validity of the data; and work with the wider General Accounting team to ensure accuracy of process
  • Take ownership of property accruals process and review with various stakeholders with a continous improvement lens
  • CAPEX postings accounted for in accordance with Policy
  • Assist with modelling of rent and various property costs
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure Revenue Leases are correctly accounted for and appropriately managed
  • Build effective working relationships with stakeholders partnership with JLL 
  • Development of SOP’s for all Property activities to ensure standardised processes exist and are adopted across Pathology
  • Review and provide training to ensure activities are actioned in line with the SOPs
  • Conduct an annual review of all property related SOP’s.
About You
You will be able to demonstrate:
  • At miminum, year 12 level of education
  • Accounting related qualification advantageous
  • Experience providing administrative support and assistance
  • 3+ years of work experience in a commercial finance environment
  • Communication skills that are logical, clear and concise
  • Strong computer literary and the ability to competently build and use spreadsheets
  • Ability so successfully interact with a range of stakeholders.
