This beautiful centre will be opening in January 2021 and will be licensed for 100 children across 5 gorgeous rooms. This innovative and state of the art space will provide incredible environments for both teachers and children.

This position involves supporting and leading the team, communicating with families, and ensuring that BestStart Birkdale operates as a high-performing centre based on quality and genuine interactions between staff, tamariki and whanau. 
As our Centre Manager you will role-model excellent leadership qualities, inspiring and motivating others to do the same. Alongside this, you'll be responsible for meeting administrative expectations, compliance requirements and striving to achieve financial performance targets.
As our successful Centre Manager, you will have:
  • A passion for building meaningful relationships with tamariki and their families.
  • Experience in centre marketing and converting enquries.
  • A strong team spirit who values the importance of all in the centre.
  • A strong belief in supporting staff moral and a positive, solution-based outlook.
  • A strong understanding of pedagogical strategies, to be a fountain of knowledge to others.
  • An ability to set a 'big picture' direction, while making sure the day to day details are attended to
  • Sound business acumen
  • Bachelor/ Diploma of Education Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Certification.
