BestStart Oraha Road is a beautiful early learning centre in the Kumeu / Huapai area, providing quality education and care for children aged between 3 months to 5 years old. As we have grown, we are now on the hunt for an extraordinary Assistant Manager who is wanting to take their career to the next level.
 
Our five indoor environments are built to support the learning and development of every age group – Nursery, Infants, Toddlers and Preschool. Each room is equipped with high quality, focused resources designed to spark curious minds.
 
We are inviting applications for an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Manager/Head Teacher in our Toddler room, who can inspire and lead a small team of teachers while supporting the Centre Manager in continuing to develop and support our team to grow. You will be experienced in planning and assessment, leading a quality programme and implementing creative ways of encouraging learning within the Te Whariki curriculum.
 
As a strong communicator, you will confidently mentor, lead and grow the team and received mentoring to further develop your skills. Ability to build strong relationships will be among your key strengths; as well as a sense of humour, maturity and high levels of initiative and professionalism. An understanding of working with children with diverse needs would be an advantage.
