About the Role
The primary purpose of the relationship manager, private wealth role is to build a sales-driven compliant network of qualified private investors and capital raising partners to enhance the investor book of iQx Ltd. and match these investors with predominantly life science investment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve agreed upon timely sales targets and quality outcomes.
  • Identify and qualify potential new private wealth sources (individuals, family offices, private funds), develop, cultivate and maintain relationships with private investors.
  • Manage the sales process and ongoing customer relationship, from identification of potential investors through to closing the sale and ensure compliant record processing as per regulatory guidance applies.
  • Maintain high levels of market awareness in the finance and biotech industries.
  • Demonstrate excellent skills in selling equity/debt instruments to private investors, including High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth individuals.
  • Daily investors support and investor feedback management.
About You
The successful person will have excellent relationship management skills and the ability to build rapport with high-net-worth individuals. You will have the ability to identify and build up channels to generate leads and translate networking into business opportunities for The iQ Group Global.
You should be someone who can work collaboratively and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders. You should have strong knowledge of financial markets, the capital raising process and the corporate finance ecosystem.
Essential Experience:
  • Sales or business development experience in financial instruments to qualified investors
  • An existing book, or network of investors, capital raising partners or high net-worth contacts.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Sound knowledge of the Australian financial services compliance framework.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial products and financial markets.
  • Strong presenting skills.
  • Coaching and giving feedback to develop people capability.
Preferred Experience:
  • An understanding of the biotech and life science sector    
  • Bachelor's Degree (Finance major preferred)
