About the Role

You will be part of a small elite team who are creating awareness to investors in the APAC region about our unique and exciting investment opportunities in the Biotechnology sector. Your mission will be to raise capital to turn scientific discoveries into commercial successes. You’ll achieve this by building a sales-driven network of qualified capital raising partners and private investors for iQx Ltd.

Role Responsibilities: 
  • Identify potential new private wealth investors, develop and maintain relationships with private investors
  • Manage the sales process from identification of potential investors through to closing the sales and ensure the proper and compliant record keeping
  • Provide investor support and investor feedback management
  • Actively represent and raise the profile and brand of The iQ Group Global within the private wealth investment community by direct calling, networking and attending industry events
  • Assist with the development of marketing materials that are responsive to the market and client needs, which demonstrate the effectiveness of private equity as a solution in meeting the needs of private investors
  • Demonstrate relevant skills and experience in raising private equity capital from private investors, including HNWs and UNHWs, are highly preferred

About You

The successful person will have excellent relationship management skills and the ability to build rapport with high net worth individuals. You will have the ability to identify and build up channels to generate leads and translate networking into business opportunities for The iQ Group Global.

You should be someone who can work collaboratively and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders. You should have strong knowledge of financial markets, the capital raising process and the corporate finance ecosystem.

Essential Experience:

  • Verbal proficiency in Chinese is essential (mandarin speaking preferred)
  • An existing network of investors, capital raising partners or contacts in the financial services industry
  • Sales experience or leads generation experience
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Sound knowledge of financial products and financial markets
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)    

Preferred Experience:

  • An understanding of the biotech or pharmaceutical industries
  • Sales experience within the financial services sector
  • Fund raising experience


  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a Finance related field
  • RG146 (preferred)
