About the Role
  
The primary purpose of the role is to provide oversight and act as technical authority regarding to system engineering activities such as system architecture, requirement elicitation, risk assessment, verification and validation of new products/medical devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to understand business objectives and translate into architectural deliverables
  • Serve as subject matter expert within the organisation
  • Generate high-quality documentation relative to product development activities
  • Synthesises all gathered information together with technical and regulatory constraints in order to define a system and its behaviour resulting in defining system specifications
  • Gathers and analyses input requirements for medical devices, supporting instrumentation/service infrastructure, and translates these into specific system requirements
  
About You
  
The ideal candidate will have the ability to clearly communicate complex technical information to a broad audience in a clear and simple manner. You should also be able to work collaboratively and effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Experience
  
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations including but not limited to 21 CFR 820, ISO 14971
  • In-depth technical understanding of the physics of nano-biosensors
  • Knowledge of analog/digital electronics, signal processing and conditioning.
  • Ability to review (or coordinate review) technical documentation of electronic circuits and lead FAI of prototype parts.
  • Ability to review (or coordinate review) technical documentation

Qualifications


  • BSc degree in Biomedical engineering (or equivalent) is essential
  • MSc degree in Biomedical engineering (or equivalent) is preferred
  • PhD degree in relevant discipline is preferred
