About the role
The primary purpose of the Medical Sales Representative will be to provide the highest levels of customer service to HCPs and key stakeholders in the Primary Care environment.  All customer service activity is directed at achieving the defined territory’s sales & business objectives through implementation of strategies and tactics as determined by FarmaForce’s management and commercial partners. 

About you

The successful candidate will maintain the highest standards of knowledge for promoted products and their therapeutic areas. You will be tenacious in your approach and will have the ability to develop strategies for maintaining and increasing sale opportunities while meeting their call rate/volume goals. You will possess the ability to meet all administrative and reporting requirements as well as regularly attending company meetings, therapeutic/product data presentations and briefings. You must be able to build and maintain positive working relationships and networks with HCPs.

Role Requirements

  • Develop and manage a given territory to maximise required results; this may include regular travel to country areas where assigned.
  • Meet call rate & volume goals as communicated
  • Gaining access to HCPs whether through pre-arranged appointments or drop-ins
  • Organisation and attendance of trade events relevant to HCPs where necessary
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships & networks with HCPs, and their medical and supporting administrative staff
  • Managing budgets (for catering, outside speakers, conferences, hospitality, etc.)
  • Planning and implementing a daily, weekly and monthly call activity schedule
Essential Experience
  • Ability to impart technical knowledge in a persuasive manner
  • The candidate must hold a valid driver’s license and have the right to live and work in Australia  
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in sales
  • Track record of exceeding budgets/targets
  • Basic competence in Microsoft Office Suite  
  • Tertiary Degree (preferred)
  • Further education (science/ pharmacy preferred)
