About the Role

The primary purpose of the role is to network within the pharmaceutical industry and source new business for FarmaForce. Using current connections, you will be required to prospect for new clients, look for opportunities, attend industry events as well as maintaining working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  
You will build your own client portfolio consisting of larger companies in the health services industry. You need to tactically execute business development strategies and use constructive dialogue to deliver the right solution for your clients’ needs. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with clients
  • Identify, propose and close new business by selling/up-selling services and solutions
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key client accounts, their stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecast and track key client account metrics
  • Manage and build a sale funnel and ensuring sales targets are met each quarter
  • Develop innovative and commercial models that differ from our competitors

About You

You need to come from a B2B pharmaceutical or health services company with a client solution focus. You are very strong in understanding the needs of a client, developing business proposals, presenting to clients and building relationships. You are extremely KPI/target driven, self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
You should be someone who shows initiative and who is able to work independently with minimal direction as well as the ability to work well under pressure.

Essential Experience

  • Strong B2B sales experience in the medical, pharmaceutical or health services industries
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of the organisation, including senior management, executive and C-level
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on clients’ needs
  • An understanding of the health industry, knowing how to analyse data to gain market insights and determinate trends and opportunities
  • Used to working with deadlines and sales targets

Qualifications: 

  • You need to have a degree in an area of healthcare
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the medical, pharmaceutical or health services industries
  • Business-to-business experience, preferably with larger clients in your portfolio
