About the Role

As a member of The iQ Group Global, Clinical Research Corporation (CRC) is a Medical Affairs Services company that is passionate about healthcare. We have a newly created Medical Manager role, which offers the exciting opportunity to be involved in a diverse and interesting range of medical affairs related projects spanning a variety of therapeutic areas.
 
The Medical Manager will be responsible for managing CRC’s Medical Affairs service offerings across the product development life cycle, providing expertise in the planning, strategy and execution of various client projects such as product prelaunch programs, market shaping activities, evidence generation, clinical advisory boards and market access/reimbursement to name a few. Importantly, you will help develop winning client proposals and implement planned initiatives accordingly, providing leadership and a high level of scientific/technical input for the successful completion of projects.

The role will also develop and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders to facilitate successful commercial outcomes for CRC’s clients. In addition, you will ensure that appropriate systems and processes are in place for the smooth running of all project activities. The role reports to the Chief Scientific Officer.
 
About You

The successful candidate will be a commercially focused and outcomes driven individual with a repertoire of experience across various medical affairs activities. This ideally may extend to involvement in market access initiatives, medical-marketing activities, PR and/or government and stakeholder relationships. You must be someone who is proactive and an effective communicator.
 
Essential Experience
  • 5+ years' medical affairs experience working within the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry
  • Previous experience working as a Medical Manager, Medical Advisor or other technical industry role involving both clinical and economic capabilities
  • Expertise managing and implementing a broad range of medical affairs related initiatives
  • Solid project management skills
  • Cultivating external and internal stakeholder relationships 

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working across multiple therapeutic areas
  • Involvement in market access related projects requiring medical affairs and data generation input
  • Healthcare professional (e.g. doctor, pharmacist)
  • Working in a matrix environment and managing cross functional teams

Qualifications

  • Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy or a PhD
  • MPH or other post graduate health related degree or business degree/MBA (preferred)
