Wow Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to support our client based in Melbourne CBD.

We’re on the lookout for a dynamic go-getter! If you’re a sales gun and a creator of long-lasting relationships, then you may be the Business Development Manager that we have been looking for!
Our client is a vastly expanding co-share workspace, disrupting the industry and creating unworldly working experiences. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their growing team and proactively utilise your web of knowledge, tap into your pipeline and source and nurture in-kind relationships.
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for attracting new members and creating brand awareness. You will be the frontline ambassador for the brand. You will be someone who says NO to traditional working conventions and refuses to be chained to the same desk day in and day out.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Develops, coordinates, and executes an effective strategy across partners to meet quarterly and annual pipeline targets
  • Builds and maintains close relationships with key stakeholders
  • Drive brand awareness and opportunities through high touch engagements
  • Engage strategic leadership support to help execute account and opportunity plans.
  • Responsible for signing new members for the home site
  • Proactively source 50% of all enquiries through own network i.e. agents, influencers, events
  • Engaging with members on a daily basis in order to build strong business relationships to aide membership retention and value for members
  • Building broker relationships
  • Working alongside the Club Manager and Senior Management Team with regard to business development initiatives
  • Ensuring CRM is up to date at all times regarding new leads and members
  • Assist Club Manager, Concierge and other team members with ad hoc work activities whereby instructed  

The ideal candidate:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Club Manager/ Memberships Manager or Sales Manager
  • Established pipeline within commercial office space/property within Sydney
  • Creative thinking and flexibility -- the ability to multi-task and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of personal credibility, customer relationship, networking and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised, strong attention to detail, forward-thinking and the ability to work autonomously and use initiative
  • Experience working towards and achieving KPI’s and targets.
