About the Opportunity:

Melbourne's Hottest Premium Dinning Japanese venue, Kisume is currently for talented chefs (hot section & pastry) to join the team!

Kisumé has redefined Japanese cuisine as we know it. Winning every major restaurant award in 2017, including  “Hottest Restaurant“ by John Lethlean, Food Critic for The AGE. With a hatted top floor private dining pace, ground floor sushi bar and basement restaurant space, Kisume is truly a feast for all senses.


The Ideal Candidate Must Have:
  • Experience as a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef
  • Premium dining and Japanese cuisine experience highly desirable
  • Strong knife skills
  • Understanding of food safety
  • Strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
  • Excellent communication and presentation
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Full availability - Able and willing to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
