About the Role:
Assist the Beverage Director with overall wine delivery. You will have an unwavering passion and appreciation of wine. This is a hands-on role with focus on service delivery, upkeep and maintenance of the wine cellar and list. Ensure exceptional guest service at all times, in line with the Lucas Restaurants’ values.

Skills & Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience as Sommelier in similar restaurant environment
  • Previous experience in delivering wine training to FOH staff is essential
  • Extensive knowledge of wine, new and old world
  • Experience with stock control and inventory management
  • Must be up to date with industry trends
  • Exceptional service skills and guest focus
  • Highly adaptable and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
  • Proven ability in building effective relationships
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Exceptional communication and presentation
  • Full time availability including weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
  • WSET certification advantageous
  • RSA certificate
