About the Opportunity:
We are looking for Chefs de Partie to join our team at Chin Chin. Ensure the overall operation of your allocated section runs smoothly and effectively. Train and coach Cooks ensuring quality and consistency of products You must possess a positive and motivated work ethic at all times.
In October 2017, Chin Chin made its debut in Sydney’s Surry Hills. While keeping true to the original Chin Chin Melbourne, Chin Chin Sydney has its own style and local feel. Housed in the beautiful, historic and heritage listed Griffiths Tea building in Sydney’s Surry Hills, Chin Chin Sydney has its own unique personality and a menu that reflects of its own neighbourhood.
The Ideal Candidate Must Have:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Chef de Partie
  • Wok and curry experience advantageous
  • Asian cuisine knowledge is highly regarded
  • Experience in high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Resilient and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
  • Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of food safety standards
  • Full-time availability. Willing and able to work rotating roster that includes weekend and public holiday
  • Must have unrestricted Australian work rights.
  • Must have minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
