About our client
Working for their Private Wealth division. This established brand is known for catering for Australia’s highest achievers;  Entrepreneurs, Company Directors & CEOs, Barristers & Judges. High Net worth Clients is their niche. Although it is a huge team under the same brand the private wealth team is small so you will be an integral part of their business.  
About the Role
You will be responsible for every aspect involved in the running of the private wealth area. While reporting directly to the adviser your primary tasks will involve:
  • Client Services, including managing the advisers diary and client appointments, miscellaneous reception duties including answering phone calls and passing on messages, and being first point of contact for client, both over the phone and face to face.
  • Portfolio Administration
  • Implementing advice recommendations from start to finish.
  • Liaising with third parties including fund managers and insurance companies.
  • Maintaining client relations via phone and email.
  • Administration duties, including client filing, data entry, document scanning and folder archiving. Also includes miscellaneous personal duties for the adviser.
  • Follow up of outstanding documents and applications/redemptions in progress and managing all pending items and spread sheets.
To be successful in this role
You will have a minimum of 3-years’ experience in the Financial Planning industry as a Client Services Officer, you will enjoy all aspects of financial planning, administration and client services. Knowledge and experience relating to Superannuation, SMSF, Investments and Insurance is a MUST. If you have worked in a financial planning practice
  • Strong attention to detail is a must
  • Proactive and ability to solve problems
  • Be able to work independently and efficiently while unsupervised, as well as work with and take direction from your fellow team member.
  • Strong ability to effectively prioritise, multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
  • Exceptional phone manner and customer service skills.
